MICHAEL JONES LAMENTS – ‘OUR TABLE TONIGHT (SOMEONE’S MISSING)’

Brisbane singer-songwriter MICHAEL JONES makes a welcome return to radio this week with his beautiful new heartfelt folksy country ballad, ‘Our Table Tonight (Someone’s Missing)’.

While the song depicts sorrow and heartache, it also honours the memory of the passing of a loved one.

Jones explains – “When a very dear friend and ex-work colleague of mine passed away, I spoke at his funeral and talked about the good times we shared over many years. Over the ensuing time I thought about him frequently”.

The track was recorded by two-time ARIA award-winning producer MAGOO (Midnight Oil, Powderfinger, Regurgitator, and Kate Miller-Heidke)

‘Our Table Tonight (Someone’s Missing)’ follows Jones’ popular debut single, ‘Hello World’ which enjoyed widespread national airplay late 2021 and early 2022.
