Clayton Francis releases debut single ‘You’re the One (That Got Away)’.
Australian Clayton Francis sensed that it was the right time for him to become a solo artist. After writing music for his band ‘Until Home’ as well as other artists like Zachary Staines he knew that now was the time. Due to sad personal circumstances writing music for him is cathartic and helps himself heal. His release ‘You’re the One (That Got Away)’ is a song that I can connect to from a previous time in my life. Claytons vocals are dripping with emotion and explores the pain of love, grief and loss. I love the vocal sound as well as the gentle music that adds to the songs effect. I look forward to hearing more from Clayton. In the mean time I will listen ‘You’re the One (That Got Away)’ in a quiet place when I can reflect on the meaning.
