The track premiered on Tone Deaf, who declared that, Nyne is ready to take over Australia’s moody electro pop underground,” with Nyne herself saying the single was, “one of those moments where a song just pours out… It’s based on a real experience of being exposed to a party lifestyle for the first time, and things not going quite to plan.”

They were all produced by OVO’s Sevn Thomas, who also collaborated on Nyne’s breakout track ‘Can’t Sleep Alone’, which was given a huge premiere on The Fader, getting in the ear of the absolute A-list of world hip hop, as well as being profiled by the likes of Hypetrak, The 405, Hilly Dilly and more.

‘Bad Trip’ flows on from that earlier momentum, evoking another neon light shining through the shadows outlook, and is set to take Nyne even further into the spotlight and launch her career as one of Australia’s most promising new artists.
