After the ballistic legacy single/video of MY NAME was released last Tuesday to nothing but love online and on social media, Ezekiel Ox is raising the stakes again.
Today he announces his first ever solo rock tour, and there’s a whole lot to like and get excited about in this live show!
Standing behind the masterful front-man are Steven Smith (Drums), Sarox Martin (Bass) and Drew Goddard (Guitar).
This quartet bring thousands of gigs worth of experience to the stage and will be unleashing tracks from Zeke’s first solo rock EP Proper Gander, plus hits from Ox’s back-catalogue.
Tickets are on sale now through ezekielox.com to these shows – Newcastle at The Cambridge November 24, Sydney at Factory Floor November 25 and Melbourne at Northcote Social Club November 26.
The Proper Gander EP will be available at the shows and online for download from Thursday 17 November.
Ox has rocked the major Aussie festivals and the UK with former band Mammal, toured the US with Full Scale and spent over a decade building a reputation as Australia’s best frontman. Heavy Music Magazine recently asked: “Why this guy isn’t a world famous rock n roll star, taking his message, which he delivers with a stylish sledgehammer, to the whole world, I do not know.”
Ox and collaborator/ co-producer Steven Smith produced Proper Gander at Muscle Mothership, Melbourne. It’s a nasty, fun, furious and reflective 6 tracks in the heart on the sleeve style we’ve come to expect from Ezekiel Ox.
These shows are not to be missed and promise to be the beginning of something special.
