Kiss play at Endymion, one of Mardi Gras; New Orleans super krewe’s Ball.
Endymion, one of Mardi Gras; New Orleans super krewe finally has Kiss play for their ball. Endymion, one of the oldest, still parading super krewe, 5i years young, boast beautiful LED floats and 1500 riders. It also has the world’s largest parade float, Pontchartrain Beach, that rolling into the New Orleans Super Dome each year. This year they had even more to celebrate. After waiting for 28 years, Kiss finally performed for the krewe’s official ball. In 1979, the original year Kiss was invited, a police strike prevented their appearance when it forced the krewe to relocate its parade, Kiss’s performance was cancelled. On February 26 however, the good times rolled into the super dome with Kiss on board their float and throwing commemorative cups.

The fully costumed group rode proudly through the streets of New Orleans and into the Super Dome to cries of “I love you, Gene!’, “Kiss Rocks”, and a delighted crowd scrambling for photos and tokens.
It, as usual, was a very eclectic ticket including KC and the Sunshine Band as well as Flo-Rida. For more information on the parades and who past and future guest will be, or to even purchase tickets to the publicly open ball, please go to: http://endymion.org/.
