While in LA, Rivers worked at Eastwest Studios (formerly Cello, United Western) and TTG Studios. Throughout this time he was writing and performing with the rock group, Pine Mountain Casket. In 2011, he decided it was time to hit the road as a solo artist and since then he has released 3 EPs and toured throughout the US & Europe including stops at many festivals and events including SXSW, SS Cape May, Club Passim’s Campfire. Festival and many more.

Whether he is performing with a guitar, his one-man band setup or with a full band, Rivers puts his all into his stagework. “Nico’s performance is electrifying – with songs & lyrics that are so honest that every performance feels intimate,” say Connor Loughman (founder of The Brain Trust production & marketing). Nico is currently based out of Boston, MA and can be found throughout the Northeast performing solo or backed by a revolving cast of musicians known as The Black Grass.
