Maari releases new single ‘Desire’

The first time I listened to ‘Desire’ I just focussed on the beautiful vocals. The variation in the emotions, one being really assertive almost to the point of aggression, the soft vulnerability and then the passion. Wow. With the addition of the the energetic music and the cleverly written lyrics this song has it all. ‘Desire’ was written to help women own their own bodies and I found that in the third listen. Maari is a duo that formed early last year. They have a love of RnB, Soul and Electronic Music which explains the us of all these genres in ‘Desire’. Not that any of that matters to me as this song is HOT! Take a listen here.
