Tangie Town have dropped a gem of a single called ‘Wounded Sky’. Tangie Town is the musical project of 2 brothers, Sam and Sloan Martin. They are about to release their self titled debut EP. ‘Wounded Sky’ is tinged with the unforgettable sound of the ’80’s. This song has many elements to it, with a retro funk beat, vocals in perfect harmony and a great meaning. We only have one planet and unless we do something right now to turn the tide of humans abusing the earth. I like the concept that is mentioned, the canaries that were used in mines to check if there was enough oxygen. If birds start falling from the sky we are in so much trouble.
