Sleepy releases a new single called ‘Flowers’.
Indie rockers Sleepy from Sydney have recently dropped a new single called ‘Flowers’. The three-piece band recorded “Flowers’ during isolation from their different bedroom studios. How lucky that our iso time coincided with having the technology to do this!
‘Flowers’ is a pop tune about experiencing long-distance relationships. Having experienced one of them and knowing the heartache that usually accompanies this type of relationships I connected to the meaning of ‘Flowers’. I really like the rawness of the lead female vocals, their sound is very unique. Also, the many layers of guitar that supports the vocals. Take a listen to ‘Flowers’ here.
