Swedish indie pop duo Neon Strangers have just released an unique quirky sounding single called ‘Heartache Sober. With elements of the 80’s pop and reggae feeling guitar the music made the song stand out from the crowd of submissions. The vocal sound fits well with the quirkiness and the straight forward honest lyrics packs a punch. Many people will relate to the story of being in love with someone and be unable to be with them. This type of love never goes away, it might fade over time but when you see that person again it flares up again. I like the contrast in theme and the upbeat pace of the song. Take a listen to ‘Heartache Sober’ here.
