’80s ICON BONNIE TYLER CELEBRATES HER 70TH BIRTHDAY TODAY!

“I’ve done so much in my life. Of course, I’m 69. But in my head, I’m in my 40s.” — Bonnie Tyler

Iconic Welch singer BONNIE TYLER has a very special reason to celebrate. Looking back at a career that spans five decades, the ’80s icon celebrates her 70th birthday today, June 8.

Back in February, Tyler released her brand new studio album The Best Is Yet To Come via earMUSIC and it couldn’t have a more fitting title. “I am not going to retire. I’ve got no inclination about retiring. So as long as I am healthy, I’ll be on the road somewhere,” Tyler enthuses.

Tyler enjoyed a worldwide breakthrough in the mainstream music scene back in the ’80s. However, The Best Is Yet To Come picks up exactly where her classic songs, such as “Holding Out for a Hero” and “Total Eclipse of the Heart” left off.

As the First Lady of Pop/Rock, Tyler made music history with her instantly recognizable, always powerhouse, and always soaring voice. To date, she has sold over 100 million units and garnered multiple Grammy nominations.

For a taste of “The Best,” check out the lyric video for “Dreams Are Not Enough.”

The rest of the album is chock full of the epic, power pop x rock sound for which Tyler has built her reputation.

Happy 70th birthday, Bonnie!
