Mark Hamilton has just released an incredible relatable cover for anyone that suffers from mental illness. This cover of Johnny Cash’s song for me resonates more with me. I found Mark’s haunting vocals really touched my soul. Shivers!

Mark states that his music is his way to put the silent epidemic of mental illness in the spotlight. In particular, the artists that the world lost too soon due to suicide or drugs. By doing this Mark hopes to help people who are struggling right now, can listen to these older songs and know that this is not a new issue, it is an ongoing one. The music video adds another dimension, drawing attention to the pain, confusion and hurt felt by the young women.
