Ali Barter and Gordi are both launching brand new singles and to celebrate they’re teaming up for some very special double-headline shows.

Ali Barter has something. It’s something that leads from her eyes to her hips; it coils around 70s stadiums and backroom bars; and it clears it’s throat from the neck of her guitar. When people are fumbling to describe it, they use words like “presence” or “compelling”. It’s something that prevents people from turning away.

In the footsteps of 2014’s ‘Community’ and tours with the likes of War On Drugs and Phosphorescent, ‘Hypercolour’ is the first single from Barter’s third EP, ‘AB-EP’ due for release in September.

Gordi’s sonic palette is one she can call her own.  The 22 year old Sydney-based folktronica artist caused a stir in late 2014 and early 2015 with her luminous indie pop songs ‘Nothing’s As It Seems’ and ‘Taken Blame’.  Combining vintage vocal layering and earthy guitar textures with delicate modern electronic production her music has drawn comparisons to Asgeir, Tallest Man on Earth and Angel Olsen.  Gordi’s new single, ‘Can We Work It Out’ is slated for release in July ahead of a debut EP in Aug.
