Wiley, Jackmaster, Novelist, Madame X, DJ Target + DJ Sets from Alt-J, Peace, Palma Violets, Jen Long and BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens added as exclusive sets to Reading and Leeds as part of Transgressive Soundsystem Takeover 2015

It’s that time again – today independent music heroes Transgressive announce that they are heading to Reading and Leeds 2015 for their eighth consecutive year of throwing the most memorable, debauched and progressive late-night parties around.

Hi-jacking Friday night in Reading and Saturday / Sunday in Leeds, the stage will run from 9.30pm until late, featuring an ever-eclectic and thrilling programme of music and entertainment.

With exclusive sets this year from grime godfather Wiley, plus global dance-floor titan Jackmaster, majorly hotly-tipped urban artist Novelist, Radio 1 Extra’s DJ Target, as well as DJ-ing courtesy of guitar saviours Alt-J, Peace, Palma Violets, new music wizards Huw Stephens and Jen Long, plus the Transgressive and Bless teams, it’s the collective’s most compellingly diverse line-up yet. Specially commissioned live visuals will be provided throughout the night, as well as more surprise appearances no doubt.

“In past years we have had everyone from Disclosure, SBTRKT, London Grammar, Warpaint, Foals, Metronomy, Johnny Flynn, to Laura Marling, Snakehips, Jon Hopkins, Two Door Cinema Club, Pulled Apart by Horses and Fuck Buttons come and play for us, often providing some of their earliest or first ever festival shows.

“Kelis last year raised the bar, and I cannot personally wait for this year’s bill. Wiley is one of the most exciting performers around, while his catalogue speaks for itself, so we cannot wait for him and all our other special guests to come and smash it.”
