A Temporary Lapse of Heaven” is Luca Bonini Boskovic’s debut album. He is a songwriter from Vicenza, AKA as Boskovic he is a British Pop/Rock influenced by Rhythm ‘n’ Blues.

The album will be soon presented to the public in the “Boskovic Heaven live tour 2016”, and the first show is scheduled on 18 March, at the theater Busnelli in Dueville (VI). On the stage with Boskovic (rhythm guitar and vocals) will play Nick Castegnaro (drums), Marco Pivato (bass) and Davide Menin (lead guitar).

The album will soon be released on 18th of March and will be called “Boskovic Heaven live tour 2016”,

The author has always been inspired by the great British Rock bands of the 60’s and 70’s: The BeatlesThe WhoDeep Purple and Pink Floyd just to name a few. The album is composed by 11 unreleased tracks (of which the author has addressed the music, the lyrics and the arrangements) carefully chosen from the archives of 20 years of songwriting. Boskovic, who was always interested in photography and visual arts, has also produced the graphic of the album. The deluxe version contains a 14 pages booklet.

Music to me is the wish and the urge to process emotions and translate them into melody; music is free from univocal interpretations, each person can identify themselves with it and release their emotional side. I’m really happy with the final result, it’s an album that “sounds good”. About this I would like to mention and thank Andrea Rigoni, his excellent work on the mastering of the tracks has taken the overall quality of the sound to the next level.”

The lyrics of the songs are intentionally hermetic, to encourage a naturally subjective interpretation. It’s easy to notice some recurrent themes. “Sun (Born and Die)”, “Good Vibrations” and “Looking for Some Songs” take a closer look into the life of a band, with all the difficulties and it carries, but also addressing the success, the passion for music, the friendships that grow while sharing the same path in life, the relationship with the public and so on.

The lyrics of “Everyday”, “Look and Fly” and “Time to Grow” are especially significant because they convey the sense of the passage of time, the importance of living a conscious life, the reference to natural elements and to nature seen as “the Great Mother” who gives birth to everything. Another recurrent theme is that of the dualism of body and soul, two sides of the same coin which coexist in earthly life, and reincarnation as the answer which can make sense of the world as a whole. Love is certainly a big protagonist of the album, analysed in its typical phases and aspects: “Just in Town” expresses the magical feeling of falling in love, “You Can Do It” tells the story of a deep and sincere bound, “What Are You Doing to Me” explores the theme of the loss of the lover, and therefore the end of the dream.

The single “Just in Town” has a rock feeling, with melodic intervals “stolen” from the Pop genre in the refrain, backed by a nice organ sound and powerful guitars. The lyrics deal with the emotions that falling in love carries, and the consequential state of bliss that is experienced. The structure and the themes of this track are clearly drawn from the musical tradition of the 60’s and 70’s.

Shot on a very hot summer weekend in an abandoned factory at the bottom of the piccolo Dolomiti” – Boskovic said – “[“Just in Town”] is a video where we had to fight the stress of losing technical equipment and the air conditioners that had a day long work out. , due to the excessive load of the technical equipment and the conditioners, that worked all day long!! We shot several scenes in the darkness and had to adjust our make up.”
