I am so looking forward to the release of ‘Too Much Never Enough’. This band is so good to listen to. Check out their second single below. They remind me of my teenage fav band of The Housemartins.
Released June 10th, ‘Scars And Safety Pins’ is the second single to be taken from indie rock band The Carnaby’s new summer album ‘Too Much Never Enough’. The Carnabys are a band who have a growing reputation for fantastic live shows, playing The Big Top at this year’s Isle of Wight Festival straight after Camden Rocks Festival and, off the back of a successful SJM promoted national tour.
The Carnabys are: Ben Gittins, Mike Delizo, Jack Mercer, Frankie Connolly and James Morgan. An outstanding 5-piece British band from South West London who have opened for Bruce Springsteen at Hard Rock Calling 2013 and been on tour with Blondie. Since then the boys have been on a collision course to world success as they sell out gigs all over London including venues such as KOKO, Garage The Borderline and The Jazz Café. They’ve also performed to hundreds of thousands of fans as they’ve shared the stage with the likes of Lenny Kravitz, Kings Of Leon, Fratellis, Palma Violets, Brice Springsteen and Patti Smith. So it’s no surprise that they’re being hailed by the likes of Debbie Harry as one of the best support bands they’ve seen in years.
Their new single, ‘Scars And Safety Pins’ is a study of self harm; trying to hide one’s fragility but at the same time calling for help and all of that effect on a relationship. Fast paced, raw and straight to the point. A high energy track that couples fast paced lyrics with a downbeat message. The second single to be taken from their forthcoming summer album, ‘Too Much Never Enough’ The Carnabys are gaining critical acclaim across influential radio stations such as BBC Radio 2, Absolute Radio, BBC Introducing, RTE and BBC Radio London. The boys are also taking off in Europe with numerous tours throughout Italy, France, Spain, Ireland and National UK Tours up and down the UK. And with The United Talent Agency as their live agent (sharing a roster with Kanye West, Muse, Black Keys, Brad Pitt, Will Ferrell) and SJM as their promoter, those tours are getting bigger and better by the day – 2016 sees The Carnabys step from support to main stage as they perform at Camden Rocks on 4 June and The Isle of Wight Festival on 12 June.
The Carnabys release ‘Scars And Safety Pins’ on June 10th The Carnabys release their new album ‘Too Much, Never Enough’ on August 19th.
