AS PARADISE FALLS DROP NEW SONG “DIGITAL RITUAL”, HINT AT NEW VOCALIST

Brisbane Deathcore outfit As Paradise Falls are today giving the world peer into the record. Late 2015 saw them travel to Thailand to lay down what would become their follow-up record to their EP “Save Yourself”. What followed was heartbreaking to the say the least – their friend and brother in music, Glen Barrie, passed away unexpectedly and without warning, in his sleep. All of Glen’s work on the record remains as he played it.

Digital Ritual is the first track to be released from this new record.  It is unusual for the band – its a definite shakeup in style and also in that is a very short instrumental track. In another shift for the Brisbane 5-piece, they have also recently had a change of vocalist and guitarist. This new track comes with a filmclip created by Third Eye Visuals and it gives punters a sneak, albeit covert look into who their new vocalist and guitarist are… can you tell who it is?

The release of their 2014 EP ‘Save Yourself’ broke into the iTunes Metal charts at #5 & their debut music video for ‘Equilibrium’ smashing over 10,000 views in the first week of its arrival, its safe to say this is a band not to be underestimated.

Storming the country on their first national tour with Molotov Solution (USA) at the end of 2014 and following that up with a tour to New Zealand, As Paradise Falls set the bar high with their high intensity live show and drive to breach all expectations.

In November 2015, while As Paradise Falls came towards the end of recording their debut album at Karma Sound Studios in Thailand – the band were invited to support I Killed the Prom Queen in Bangkok. Tragically, the night before the show, guitarist Glen Barrie suddenly passed away in his sleep, leading to a halt in progress to give each member time to grieve the loss of their brother.

as-paradise-falls-03.jpgWith a renewed drive and passion for their music and the band as a whole, 2016 brings back a reformed yet determined As Paradise Falls carrying an album full of their best work and the late Glen Barrie’s best work.

With a new album and new members (who are currently both unnamed and yet to be released), As Paradise Falls’ new vocalist and guitarist are shrouded in mystery.

Their previous EP, Save Yourself, is available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and more now and Digital Ritual will be available later in 2016 as part of their coming LP.
