Sienna Skies release video for “There’s No Place Like…” ahead of Hawthorne Heights tour support

Sydney’s Sienna Skies are about to head out on the road alongside Hawthorne Heights and River Oaks (Shane Told from Silverstein‘s solo project) across Australia. To celebrate, they are dropping a video for single “There’s No Place Like…” from their 2016 album “A Darker Shade of Truth” (InVogue Records).

The five-piece have been busy in 2017, having toured through the United Kingdom and Europe (Belgium, Netherlands, France, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria and Italy) earlier in the year and Japan in late 2016/early 2017.

They are releasing the videoclip for “There’s No Place Like”. The picturesque filmclip features the band playing on a farm and on a massive rocky outcrop in the Australian bush. The real star of the clip is a Yellow Labrador dog totally having the BEST time and being a total GOOD BOY, playing in the river and with his ball.

Their album ‘A Darker Shade of Truth garnered praise from all over, with Soundfiction saying “..infectious choruses, hard hitting breakdowns and emotional guitar leads combine to make this record worthy of both metalcore fans and non fans alike.”, The Music musing that “With sweeping leads and catchy riffs, Sydney’s Sienna Skies new album is fierce, aggressive and brilliant.”, Heavy blog The Underground calling it “…an amazing piece of modern heavy music that you should get your hands on — you will not be disappointed!” and New Transcendence saying “A Darker Shade of Truth is a beautiful and bold full length release.”

“There’s No Place Like” is part of the album “A Darker Shade of Truth” which was recorded at Electric Sun Studios and Produced and Tracked with with Dave Petrovic (Tonight Alive, Hands Like Houses, Kerser, Thy Art is Murder) and Stevie Knight (With Confidence, Little Sea, Short Stack). The record was also mixed and mastered with Dave Petrovic.

Sienna Skies have seen the world on the back of tours with Silverstein, Thy Art Is Murder, Story Of The Year, Like Moths to Flames, Hawthorne Heights and are determined to share their powerful positive message to the world through both their live show as well as the music they have poured their heart and soul into for years.

Sienna Skies’ ‘A Darker Shade of Truth’ is available in all good online outlets and in stores at JB Hi-Fi, at iTunes and Spotify and at siennaskies.bigcartel.com or invoguerecords.com.
