The On and Ons: Launching the vinyl edition of their album “Welcome Aboard” at the market. The On and Ons are a power pop/rock/garage combo with an impeccable pedigree, featuring Glenn Morris (lead vocals, guitar) and his brother Brian (drums), of The Zeros (Aust), who toured Australia and the US in 2012 as members of The Paul Collins Beat with Clyde Bramley (bass – ex Hoodoo Gurus) and Jon Roberts (guitar – ex The Barbarellas).

Spurs for Jesus: This will be Spurs’ first appearance at the Markets for way too long, we can’t wait to have Australia’s favourite cowpunks grace our stage once more. A little bit country with big dollops of rock ‘n’ roll spiced up with rockabilly, gospel, swing, tex mex and more, Spurs love a big shindig and they plan to give us one.

A Band Called Twang (QLD): The Sunshine Coast’s most in-demand rockabilly cats have been sweeping festival-goers off their feet all around the nation. With an infectious sense of fun, their original repertoire combines rockabilly with blues/Americana, stamped with their own indelible style. This marks the launch of their brand-new album Rootin’ Tootin’, a follow-up of their critically acclaimed Rockabilly Girl, and it’s bound to get this Sydney crowd rootin’, tootin’, hootin’ and hollerin’ for more.

Cruisin’ DeucesBorn out of a love of traditional Honky-tonk, Western Swing and Rockabilly music. Hailing from Sydney’s Inner West, the boys blend the southern twang of Telecasters with crying steel guitars and driving bass. The Rev. Dr. Z’s (lead guitar) soulful voice and burning solos blend with the mournful wail of the pedal steel and bring the sounds of Texas, Memphis and Nashville to Sydney for a hootenanny you’ll never forget.

Plus DJs Rockin’ Marc Rondeau, The Crimplenes, Dr.Rock, Andy Travers and MC Doc Temple.
