Joe Traxler releases ‘Asymmetrical Life’ a beautiful and soulful tune.

On my first listen of ‘Asymmetrical Life’ I had shivers down my back. The second time I was in disbelief that someone could write such a song dripping with emotion that I could relate to. The beautifully personal lyrics, the soul captivating guitar playing plus the gentle voice of Joe Traxler’s resonated with me on a deep emotional level. Joe is an amazing singer-songwriter and has been gifted with a sweet voice. Knowing now that he wrote this song about an unexpected and prolonged bout of facial paralysis cements my admiration for the 23 year old.  Don’t just take it from me though, take a listen below I am sure you will agree with my sentiments.

Joe Traxler is a London based singer songwriter, hailing from his native Linz, Austria. Combining emotionally resonant vocals, touching lyricism and his signature percussive guitar elements, Traxler’s music is heartfelt and reminiscent of artists in the vein of Jeff Buckley, John Mayer and City and Colour.
He has built up a following over the years, supporting big names such as Silbermond’, Christina Stürmer’, and U.S. cult act Vesperteen’ in several countries across Europe including some famous grassroots venues in London, such as The O2 Academy’, The Courtyard Theatre’ and Ronnie Scotts’, won the Austrian Newcomer Award 2014’ and had numerous TV appearances on Austria’s and Germany’s biggest broadcasters ORF1, ORF2 and Super RTL.
Following up on his debut EP Forty Four’, Traxler has teamed up with producer Steven A. Williams (Sting, Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones) and an impressive line up of session musicians such as Robbie McIntosh (John Mayer, Paul McCartney, Norah Jones), Thomas Peel (James Bay), Matt Park (Mumford & Sons) and David Piribauer (Alice Cooper, Solange Knowles) as well as 7 time Grammy award winning mixing engineer Michael Brauer to work on his new single.
