‘Chancers & Rats’ by Mortimer Jackson is an example of great Indie Rock. His inspirations include Joy Division but his sound is still modern. I love Mortimer’s unique vocals and the music that stamps to support the songs meaning. This is about two people from different background who come together to beat the system.
