When I listened to ‘Thorns’ I was transported back to my younger day when I was a true punker with songs with real lyrics and insane music. Swine Tax in this song have captured what I love about this genre. Meaning wise the song is about trying to overcome the inadequacy within a relationship. This is a relatable concept for many. The lyrics are filled with meaning with a tinge of sadness.
