Rebecca Lou release new single ‘Take Your Time’.

Danish Punk rockers Rebecca Lou dropped their next single called ‘Take Your Time’. This track caught my attention due to the super energy charged song that made me want to jump up and dance. Drawing influence from old school punk rockers  Sleater-Skinny and Hüsker Dü, ‘Take Your Time’ has all the elements of a great punk rock song. The tune is about love but not the happy ever other type of love in fairytales. I really love the lyrics, they are well written and meaningful. I can certainly relate to them. Vocally Rebecca Lou has the perfect vocal sound and tone for a punk rocker. ‘Take Your Time’ is the second single from this band, I look forward to more! Take a listen to ‘Take Your Time’ here.

Rebecca Lou has been added to this year’s Roskilde Festival, partly because of the massively positive reception of “Not 4 U”, but also – and this seems rather self-evident – because the festival wanted to add the band’s raw, punky love-at-first-listen sound to their warm-up program.

The month of May will also see the band going out on their first European tour as headliners – and they’ll be playing shows in DenmarkGermanyAustria and Switzerland.
