County Line Runner releases new single called ‘Cold Dawn’.
County Line Runner is the alter ego of singer songwriter Adam Day. Adam says that his music is like an extension of him. I liked that. County Line Runner was formed after a relationship breakdown and Adam was separated from his son, missing him terribly. Deciding that he needed to do something rather than lose his mind, he started writing songs. A friend encouraged his to share his music. His friend was right, with endorsements from BBC Music and Clash Magazine and over one million combined Spotify he got a deal with Alex Da Kid’s KIDinaKORNER in early 2019. ‘Cold Dawn’ is a song about how things can catch up with you. That is very true! Here is Adams thoughts on the song.
County Line Runner says “‘Cold Dawn’ is really about how some things have a way of catching up with you…This song I’d written and then kind of buried, until my guitar player Sam asked about it during a recording session. Some things you write and don’t want to re-live, but Sam really connected with it and I’m glad that he helped bring it back.”
I am happy that Adam chose to share ‘Cold Dawn’ as I not only adore his vocals, I connected to the song. His introspective lyrics of the song resonated with me. I look forward to more music from County Line Runner. Listen to ‘Cold Dawn’ here.
In celebration of the release and his upcoming debut project, County Line Runner will perform his first-ever show in the U.S. next month at New York’s Mercury Lounge on October 2nd. Tickets are available now HERE.
