Chappaqua Wrestling drop new single called ‘The Rift’.
Chappaqua Wrestling are a UK band that have just released a gem of a single called ‘The Rift’. When I first started listening I was impressed with the insanely great guitar and I was thinking….please let the vocals be as good and I was super happy when they were. ‘The Rift’ is the full package, a song with strengths in vocals, music, including that killer guitar riff and meaning. Based on a poem by Percy Bysshe Shelley called “The Masque of Anarchy” and was written after the Peterloo massacre in Manchester, it discusses how some people don’t get to have their say and are not treated equally. A great lyrical story for the events of 2020!
Take a listen to ‘The Rift’ here, you won’t regret it.
Chappaqua Wrestling are:
Charlie Woods – Vocals, guitar
