17,000 fans. Let that sink in. Ithink Amphitheater was bursting at the seams. Shockingly enough, even with that size of a crowd, Live Nation and their crew made logistics look easy. I’d be happy with a few extra ladies room stalls when it’s that packed, but crowd control, parking, and entrance went about as good as one can expect for a show this size. This is one venue I typically feel safe walking to and from the parking lot and throughout the venue. That’s very important to me and I’m sure many other fans.

From the opening notes of his set, Post Malone brought it strong to West Palm Beach on July 31, 2023.
This was the first tour that Post has done with a full band, which included a string quartet. The entire evening sounded great, with full sound, lights and pyro. The production was full, stadium quality. Definitely more than I expected. He stepped out in a Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefers Band t shirt, and I was won over immediately. His enthusiasm and energy just draws you in. Downright contagious, if you ask me.

Post Malone has become a full-fledged entertainer. With the tour aptly named “If y’all weren’t here, I’d be crying” , he made everyone believe it. Nearly every song ended with him thanking the crowd and toasting them with his red solo cup.

As he continued to comment on how hot Florida was, I wanted to tell him, be glad it rained earlier. It, by far, was one of the most comfortable evenings in the area in quite a while.
He did a few acoustic songs which I truly enjoyed. Stripped down to just him and a guitar, with “STINKY” -surely a virtual middle finger to those who spread that rumor, embossed on the strap, his voice shined through. In a world where so much is over processed, auto tune, it’s refreshing to hear someone be brave enough to bare all vocally.

Gratitude. Post Malone has a huge amount of it. He gave and received energy and love all night. That’s my big take away from the entire show. He just seemed so joyful to be out there and savoring every second.
