Where can you find over 11 thousand fans, an art exhibit, and a crowd surfing gorilla shooting off a t-shirt cannon? At The Offspring Show, of course.

If there is one thing you can always count on at a show by The Offspring is at one point or another, you will have no a idea what you’re going to see. I have always enjoyed The OffSpring. I have seen, and photographed them many times. It’s the unexpected that makes them far more exciting live than many other artists.

From the clandestine attempt of fans to set a world’s record for the most crowd surfing sex dolls at Rocklahoma several years ago, to now, The Offspring continue to be just a bit off from normal. That is what makes the show from beginning to end, a fun ride. At one point I thought I might get knocked off my perch at the front of house by a gorilla with a compressed air t-shirt gun. ( Isn’t that how Ned Flanders wife checked out in the Simpsons?)

They look and sound incredible. They are continuing to produce some pretty sound if not completely different music. While many artists from their era have slowed down or aren’t quite what they used to be, this rebellious group has shown their middle finger to the ageists and came out swinging. They haven’t lost their spirit at all. In fact, this tour is to support their new album, Smash.

Along with the album launch comes a traveling art exhibit, Punk Rock and Paintbrushes, including photos through the years of The Offspring taken by: F Scott Shafer. There are works of Daveed Benito the artist who created both the 2021 Let The Bad Times Roll and the new cover art for Smash. In addition to these fantastic works are The Offspring inpispired work by Punk Rock and Paintbrushes artists: Jesse Micheals, Mark deSalvo, Bod dob, Chloe Trujillo, Daren Vorel, Scott Prior, and more. There are also works for sale and auctions of signed items for some of the band’s favorite charities.

Support artists included Jimmy Eat World (*NP), direct support, and a very strong and energizing performance by South Florida band: New Found Glory.

This was a fun show, the weather really cooperated, and the vibe was very uplifting. This  is a must see for 2025. Set list for opening night and additional tour dates below:
