Yungblud Makes Florida Hotter

Yungblud made two stops in Florida It was the perfect way to kick off hurricane season. It was hot, wet, nasty, and pure rock and roll.

At this point, a year past his Grammy Award winning performance of “Changes” at the Back To The Begining show, you either love “Dom” or you hate him. There is no in between. Having received the torch of Rock and Roll from Ozzy himself, this could go either really well, or really bad. There is no room to move under that kind of crushing pressure.Put up or shut up, really.

I’d say it is going pretty well. Since that performance, Yungblud has thrown the rule book out and does what we have all been hoping for a very long time. Raw. gritty. unfettered energy and a whole lot of sexy. The way rock and roll was before the grunge era. Sheer joy on his face at every turn as he feeds on the energy of the crowd and they give it freely. Some might compare him to the psychic vampire, and empath. So strongt spills over into two dimsional world of social media videos created by both fans and a great media team. He appears in news feeds everywhere.The one question I have is how long can he maintain the pace? This is no ordinary force of nature, this man, these performaces, are something bigger. A very special moment in time.

This is the perfect time to be a rock star. Everyone is begining to tire of the autotune, over processed, perfectly polished looks and this is the complete opposite. Even if you can argue a well played trasition form a more punk look into leather glad rock prince in leather and sweat his delivery hasn’t changed. His authenticity of music remains and touches multiple generations. As a teenager, I was in conflict over my choice of music with my parents. I would never have gone to a concert with my Mother. much less expect to see her hear to toe in black leather carrying a “MILFS thirst for yungblud” blud. ( I may have just cringed over the picture in my head.) It happened in Orlando and he loved it. Yungblud has embrassed everyone both literally and figuratively.The “We Made The Right Person Famous” posts are plentiful and not a single negative post about him. Is he a bit eccentric, well sure. Who cares ? I don’t have to live with him. His Fan centric approach is just one of the many ways he repays the debt he owes to the fans for this undying love and support.

Orlando started and ended with a massive production, no sad mood lighting andlots of Pyrotechniques. Right in line with the heyday of rock. Energy from the stage never waned. He was spot on and made every single person in the room feel as is he was playign just for them.Even the cheap seats. I used that phrase cautiously as the tour has been sold out since day one. The people lining the pit had been in line since 8:00 AM,just to try to be closer to him. This type pf dedication hasn’t been seen in years.

The high enegry performance lasted only 13 songs including the taped intro “War PIgs” from Black Sabbath. I am not sure the crowd felt the time pass. Nor do I think they would have lasted much longer. At one point he hopped the baricade to stand on the hands of fans as they raised him high over the crowd. It represented a level of trust and unspoken echange with the incredibly loyal fan group. It was exhaustingly glorious. He invited everyone into his world and it is a chaotic trip to exhaulted oblivion. To quote my friend, a 30 year veteran in the industry, ” It was the best show I have seen in years.” I don’t disagree. This guy brings everything to the stage and gives it away freely every time. A must see show of 2026.
