After releasing the first track “Cutting My Fingers Off” from their upcoming full-length Peripheral Vision, it was obvious that Virginia’s Turnover were onto something new.  The Rob Soucy-directed video for the second track off their album, “New Scream” that premiered on Stereogum today is further proof of it, with the site calling their music “desperate, lonely indulgence in nostalgia, its yearning shot down by the Virginia-based band’s emotive and entangled guitar work.” Peripheral Vision, the band’s sophomore full-length, will be released on May 4, 2015 via Run For Cover Records.  Recorded with Will Yip at Studio 4 in Conshohocken, PA, Peripheral Vision is a massive leap forward for Turnover, combining melancholy, textured guitars riffs and sincere vocals to create an expansive album as gorgeous as it is pensive.  The album is now available for pre-order via Run For Cover.
Turnover formed in Viriginia in 2009 and released their debut full-length, Magnolia in 2013 on Run For Cover Records, in addition to numerous EPs and splits.  The band has toured the US and the UK multiple times, and in addition to currently being in the midst of a  six-week spring tour, have just announced a tour in May and June with Fireworks and Sorority Noise (all dates below).

Turnover is Austin Getz (vocals, guitar), Casey Getz (drums), Danny Dempsey (bass) and Eric Soucy (guitar).
