MONSTER ENERGY’S WELCOME TO ROCKVILLE KICKS OFF WORLD’S LOUDEST MONTH
Monster Energy’s Welcome to Rockville Festival will be held April 30th and May 1st In Jacksonville, Florida.
F
rom its humble beginnings just a few years ago with an attendance of just 10,000, Danny Wimmer’s vision for a Rockfest in his hometown of Jacksonville, Florida has grown into one of the most recognizable festivals of the season. In 2015, the festival had grown to over 50,000 and is the largest festival in Florida and kicks off the WORLD’S LOUDEST MONTH of festivals. This year it promises to be bigger and better than ever.
Over 45 bands will perform over two days along side the debut of the “Gourmet Food Man” and the Jack Daniel’s “Whisky Row”. In addition, Tequila World will be returning to the festival. Will Metalachi be returning with it? We will have to wait to find out. There will be artist autograph sessions, The Music Experience, and the “Make your mark” graffiti zone. It all adds up to a full weekend of things to see hear and do. In the grand scheme of things the ticket prices are reasonable for the a
mount of talent appearing in the line up.
The full weekend general admission tickets are only $99.50 and other packages including VIP are available. With a single headliner ticket typically costing around $50, it’s great value for money.
Disturbed will headline Saturday night’s ticket and Rob Zombie will be returning to close the festival on Sunday. That’s an appearance not to be missed!
A surprising but exciting addition to the line up is Sixx: A.M., Nikki Sixx’s band. Even he is excited to be there.
