PRAISE FOR GABRIELLA COHEN

Musically there’s bits of Mazzy Star, Nick Cave an The Velvet Underground to devour.” – NME

“2016 called and it has grand plans for Gabriella Cohen. She’s just signed to Dot Dash and her solo debut shows a breathtaking talent at work, she’s tipped to follow in Courtney Barnett’s converse sneakers.” – Mikey Cahill, The Herald Sun ★★★★1/2

“Full Closure and No Detail is a kaleidoscopic fuzz-pop statement”  Rolling Stone ★★★★

“When you need to flip life a big “F-you”, Full Closure And No Details is the album for the job. It’s dark, it’s rebellious, it’s intoxicating, and it’s a beautiful debut.”  Beat Magazine ★★★★

“Gabriella Cohen knows exactly when to leave space, push into apparent chaos, croon or just fire off a weaponised sigh.”  – The Music

“The debut solo album from Melbourne-based Gabriella Cohen is a masterfully written and produced display of modern songcraft. Each song playfully explores and redraws the boundaries of punk-infused pop, garage rock, surf, psych, and post-punk balladry. Inventive and revelatory arrangements are matched by the poeticism and incisiveness of Gabriella’s lyrics. For new listeners “Full Closure and No Details” is an impressive introduction.”  Simon Winkler, Triple R
