Fuzzpilot release new music video for song ‘Suppression.’

Not every band produces an explosive introduction as FuzzPilot have – now bursting through with their debut release “Suppression”, a towering track with all the makings of a heavy alt rock smash.

Featuring clips from the upcoming short film “Breather”, (story, visual FX and animation by FuzzPilot’s lead singer/guitarist c), the film clip for “Suppression” delivers a take on the themes of the song; delving into the darkness of depression, trapped within by monsters of your mind…and the struggle in finding the light and inner strength to overcome one’s inner demons.

“The ‘Suppression’ clip was almost entirely self-produced,” says Shaun Trainer. “As a band (and with a bit of help from our fantastic friend and DP, Wade Higgins) we’ve got quite a bit of coverage across a lot of creative aspects, which really helped us reinforce ‘Suppression’ as the most pure distillation of the band.”

A unique mixture of crunching riffs, catchy grooves, and pummeling drums, “Suppression” doesn’t delay in demanding your attention. “Suppression” tears through speakers, offering glimpses into FuzzPilot’s mission – a band commanded by the giants of the heyday of alt-rock such as Tool, Rage Against the Machine, Cog, Kyuss and Faith No More. Dark and heavy, yet crystal clear; gnarly and twisted, but finely defined; “Suppression” is a straight four-and-a-half minute blast of masterful rock.

“’Suppression’ evolved from a very natural place…Jeff (drums) and I create a base from a free flowing and cathartic process, Cat puts down some killer runs, and then Jeff goes through some fine tuning and adds the finishing touches,” says Shaun. “From that, I think “Suppression” is a very sincere essence of the band.”

Perfectly mixing expert low-end rhythm from Cat Andrews (bass), the constantly driving beat of Jeff van Dyck (drums), and the rumbling growl and riffs of Shaun Trainer (vocals/guitar), FuzzPilot have perfected their sound since their 2012 formation. Since then, FuzzPilot has locked in and dedicated themselves to the development of their sound; the production of “Suppression” as a result endures the fact that good things come to those who wait.
