Lavidius are dropping a new brutal video from their debut album “Helisma”. It’s the title track from the album and they have put together another bloodthirsty video to follow ‘Cold & Alone’s trippy stalker mindf**k narrative.
Lavidius dropped their brand new LP, “Helisma” on Friday September 1st, with a bunch of reviewers praising it’s brutality and songwriting – foretelling the band’s promise and potential for an even bigger future.
Heavy Mag gave it 4/5 stars and said “[Helisma] is laced with intricate, groove-laden riffs, accompanied by the band’s trademark thunderous bass. It also contains all of the melodic harmony associated with Swedish influences such as Soilwork and Arch Enemy.”
The Music also gave it 4/5 stars and praised it, saying “[Helisma] is a gloriously bruising ride from the start ’til album’s end.”
Metal at the Gates said Helisma is “A blistering 11 tracks that truly encompass the European metal sound with a touch of the Down Under!”
Battle Helm‘s Anders Ekdahl said “The more I listen to this the more I like it. A real stomper of an album.”
The five-piece brutal crew out of Brisbane’s album features new single “Helisma” as well as ‘Days Get Darker’ (featuring Bjorn Strid from massive Swedish metal act Soilwork on guest vocals!), which premiered on The Racket with Lochlan Watt and online with Hysteria Mag. The band released first taste of Helisma with single Cold and Alone earlier in July.
Lavidius have supported and played shows with Spanish thrash band Angelus Apatrida and Australian legends Orpheus Omega, Witchgrinder, DarkCell, Chronolyth and Vanishing Point.
