Indie rockers The Colonies Band have released a gem called ‘Bound To Be Something Good’ This song was written about a long distance relationship that found it hard to communicate due to the timezones. When they reunite there is ‘Bound To Be Something Good’. I like this song not only as it is contagious, well written lyrics but the high quality of the music and vocals. Emotions can be heard within the vocals, loneliness and yearning for that far away loved one. A woodblock was used to create an unique sound and the lead guitar is a treat. The Colonies Band are releasing their third album soon and ‘Bound To Be Something Good’ is the title track. Check it out here.
