King Willow release new single ‘ Blue Valentine’.

‘Blue Valentine’ is the latest single from indie poppers King Willow. Their sound had a touch of R&B to old-school folk as well as pop. Whatever genre fits into ‘Blue Valentine’ is fine for me as it is such an amazing song. Some songs like ‘Blue Valentine’ are good enough to create their own genre. I adore the strong vocals and harmonies. Lyrically it is about setting up a perfect Valentines but sadly being rejected in the end.  King Willow is made up of sisters Amanda and Julianna Salguero based in San Fransisco. Singing together from a very early age they have perfected their harmonies and the backing vocals on this track really support the lead ones. It is a catchy tune that you can’t just listen to once.
