Bartells releases amazing new single called ‘Mistaken’.

‘Mistaken’ is Indie Pop/rock at its absolute best. I feel that Bartells is going to be one of those NZ artists that Australia adopts as its own too. (Sorry ….not Sorry!)  Playing the guitar since he was 15, Bartells has been refining his sound leading up to this moment. I adore Bartells vocals, from the moment I heard them I was super impressed. They are unique, deep and full of emotion. ‘Mistaken’  is a mix of multiple genre’s, soul, folk, pop, and indie-rock and we really need a name for Bartells personal genre.  ‘Mistaken’ is a reflective song about Bartells life that is really connectable. Bartells has been sober for 2 and a half years and this song is a cathartic song for him…. Yet can be used in many different situations for all people to relate. A possible Australasian tour is on the cards in 2020. Bartells is an up and coming artist that I look forward to hearing what comes next.
