Alice Clayton releases single ‘Magpie’.
Alice Clayton has just released a quirky song called ‘Magpie’. Using a Baritone Ukele provides depth in the background but the standout feature of the song is Alice’s beautiful vocals. Exploring and discussing what Magpies actually do, swooping low and stealing the jewels and hiding them. To me this is a great way to explain a toxic relationship and how people can work their way into our lives but are not good for us. Magpies are dangerous when they swoop and set their eyes on us, just like a toxic person. Alice Clayton has just released an EP which is her first EP and she worked in collaboration with Make Noise and Warren Records . This EP looks at themes such as politics, feminism and personal well-being. Keep an eye out for her EP and you can listen to ‘Magpies’ here.
