HAYL releases new single ‘Be Like You’.

HAYL is an indie-pop artist based in Nashville. Growing up in a small beach town her family circumstances made it a struggle to be able to express her feelings. Turning to music to be able to express herself, her songs are filled with her truth and are relatable to many. This is one reason that I was drawn to ‘Be Like You’ but I must admit it was HAYL’s incredible vocal sound. They have a beautiful sound and are full of emotion. ‘Be Like You’ was written after her heart was broken and she was feeling worthless. The song, however, is not all negative and sad, it comes with a sense of hope that there the future can be better, it just takes time.
