Drew Schueler releases ‘To Know I Hurt You’ – stripped.
Drew Schueler started his music career in Cincinnati and Nashville in the alt-pop genre and has now moved into the pop main stream. Drew is a solo artist is all ways, by completely writing, singing, playing ever single instrument, producing and mixing his debut EP called ‘New Perspective‘.
Drew states “I have always been fascinated by all aspects of creating music. “As with any kind of art, every tiny detail matters and I love knowing everything that goes into my music.“
Therefore we can direct all our accolades drawn from the relatable single ‘To Know I Hurt You’ . This song was originally released back in January but Drew felt a stripped back version was worth releasing as well. I agree. It takes the song to a whole other level both in listening enjoyment but more importantly highlighting the pain and hurt. Unlike other songs about broken hearts and pain from relationships, it is from the person who was at fault and how much it hurt them as well. The song also acts as an apology, even though it usually is too hard to forgive. While listening it makes memories flood back from a previous relationship and the wish I have is that the man that hurt me would feel this way. So even though that part of me was tucked away in my memories, deep in my memories, toxic people can still cut deep. Take a listen to ‘To Know I Hurt You’ here.
