MAEFIRE RELEASE NEW SINGLE ‘CRAWLING’ & HEAD TO MUSIC MATTERS IN SINGAPORE

Melbourne’s MAEFIRE are firing on all cylinders. The alt-rock outfit are today presenting their brand new single ‘CRAWLING’ – an earworm if ever there was one – and they are also heading to Singapore for Music Matters – the exciting international music conference that boasts only so few other Australian artists.

Maefire are among very few other Australian artists showcasing at the prestigious festival in Singapore alongside multi-platinum artists The Veronicas.

The single Crawling is an alt-rock anthem – Maefire have outdone themselves – equal parts sing-along as it is feel-the-emotion-down-to-your-bones, the band showcase all of their talents on what is sure to be radio-track heaven. The band are today unleashing the track into the world in time for the conference, which starts on September 12. The track will be in all good digital stores September 23rd.

Maefire recently released their filmclip for previous single WITHOUT YOU, which features Neighbours actor, Felix Mallard, which can be seen here.

Since the release of their debut EP in 2015, MAEFIRE have been unstoppable.

First single ALYSHA catapulted the band head first into Melbourne’s rock and roll scene, playing to a sold out Workers Club and follow up shows in Adelaide and Brisbane.

Second offering SOLE DESIRE reached international airplay and saw the band play shows with Brit rockers As It Is, US band The Maine as well as Australia’s Ocean Alley & Young Lions across the country.

The band headed back into the studio at the tail end of 2015 to write and record their sophomore EP & in June 2016 premiered lead single WITHOUT YOU via The AU Review. Showcasing a more groove orientated sound reminiscent of The 1975 and The Neighbourhood.

It’s time to rethink rock and roll.

MAEFIRE’s single CRAWLING is out September 23rd on iTunes, Spotify and all good online and streaming outlets. For more information, go to maefire.com
